Strategic Accounts Sales Representative


  • Work with the Systems regional representatives to identify, and pursue national or partner type accounts beyond the local level.
  • This would include identifying past successful projects and building on them to form a long term agreement for future project.
  • This also includes communication of meetings, contact, etc. with customers or potential customers in a given regional territory.(either e-mail or phone call)
  • Have an effective understanding of all Systems equipment and Fairborn dock seals and shelters and their implementation
  • Effectively be able to present, demonstrate and explain both Systems equipment and Fairborn dock seals and shelters to an end user
  • Provide monthly forecasting on upcoming projects to aid in manufacturing and inventory planning.
  • Always conduct oneself in a manner of professionalism and respect to emphasize the culture of Systems and the National Account/Partner program division.
  • Log all calls, conversations and new contacts in the Act database


Preferred Qualifications

  • BS or BA 4 year degree - required
  • Be able to travel approximately 50% of time.
  • Representative must possess strong cold calling  and customer cultivation skills
  • Possess strong computer skills, capable of presenting customized presentations to accounts using, Powerpoint, Excel, Adobe, Word, GoTo Meeting etc.
  • Basic abilities to read engineered building and design drawings is a plus
  • Previous experience in outside sales relating to Fortune 500 or equivalent sized customers a plus.
  • Possess extreme patience and persistence when dealing with customers to achieve the long term goal of “PARTNERSHIP”
  • Possess project management and time management skills needed to effectively follow projects through from quoting to completion.
  • Be willing, on rare occasions, to work with or entertain end users or customers on weekends or evenings.
